MSHF educated and empowered girls and young women to defend themselves against emotional, psychological and verbal manipulation and physical violence. Their team wanted to expand their footprint from local to global and initiate a new round of philanthropy that fuels growth. They needed a compelling tool to engage potential funding partners around the impact of violence and why their cause was worthy of support.
Our challenge centered on concepting an inspirational, creative approach for a tool that stood out from other organizations. We wanted to use the stark impact data around violence to educate, connect the dots to action steps, and create urgency for the cause.

Our team started by working with the MSHF team to understand their donor base and issues that inspire donors. We did a deep dive to identify key data points and shape a narrative on the impact of violence on girls and young women. That informed a structured exercise around message development. Beyond the data points, we surfaced alarming behaviors for girls and young women to be aware of and action steps to take to get help. Then we created a compelling concept for the piece. It brings to life the icon in the brand logo and has an interactive pull-out card with die-cut windows. The interactivity turns this tool into a conversation piece and source of education.
