CHALLENGE

APA produces the largest annual conference for psychiatrists and other mental health professionals in the country. It spans nearly a week and addresses key topics across the entire mental health landscape. APA recently invigorated the conference agenda and launched multiple new learning formats, session tracks, and other featured content. In addition to enhancing quality of the education, APA also wanted to increase attendance from their core target audiences. Ideally, through cost-effective online tactics.

Our challenge was to implement effective online campaigns using paid search and remarketing.

SOLUTION

We initiated a brief strategy development process that centered on opportunities in online marketing. This let us assess what tactics would be most effective and identify technical steps necessary to ensure transparency in reporting. We focused on implementing and benchmarketing the basics. Set up paid search and remarketing campaigns from start to finish — keyword research, management, analysis, reporting. Worked hand-in-hand with internal resources to also implement landing page testing. We also ran A/B ad testing and targeting by geography and other variables.
