CHALLENGE

CCO creates continuing education across a variety of therapeutic areas from cardiology to HIV to oncology. The education is delivered in multiple formats, including live events and various online modalities. For one series of events on HIV across the country, CCO wanted to hit specific attendance goals in each of 30 cities. And for several of its online educational programs, CCO wanted to create and implement online tactics to benchmark effectiveness and drive engagement.

Our challenge was to develop effective marketing strategy across multiple education programs of different formats. And we looked to incorporate online tactics that raised the bar above their current marketing efforts.

SOLUTION

We initiated a detailed strategy development process. This let us assess current user data, web metrics, competitive analysis, and strategic opportunities. Based on that initial process, we developed, presented and executed an integrated strategy for each education program. For the live meeting series, we worked collaboratively with internal resources on data, planning, email strategy, and email copy and creative. We led execution, testing and reporting across telemarketing, paid search and remarketing for 30 events in markets across the country. For online programs, we led landing page development and worked with internal resources on planning and rollout. We also created a product demo video, from ideation and copywriting through storyboards and production.
