CHALLENGE

GAME creates continuing education across a variety of therapeutic areas from dermatology to internal medicine to rheumatology. A key piece of their portfolio is high-quality conferences. For their annual conference in rheumatology, GAME wanted to revitalize their marketing approach and hit specific attendance goals to grow the event. A key need was to create and implement online tactics to benchmark effectiveness and drive engagement.

Our challenge was to develop effective marketing strategy for the conference. We focused on how the conference could engage potential attendees online. And we looked to incorporate online tactics that raised the bar above their current marketing efforts.

SOLUTION

We initiated a detailed strategy development process. This let us assess past attendee data, web metrics, competitive analysis, and strategic opportunities. Based on that initial process, we developed and presented an integrated marketing strategy for the conference. It included recommendations on branding and identity; email and automation; website usability and engagement; social media; campaign landing pages; and other short- and long-term tactics. We continued in an advisory role to internal resources during ongoing implementation.
